A sociological balance.

The sequel is underway and going well.  I am living in that world at the moment and it's a rush!  Lots of good feedback about the first one and it hasn't been published yet!
Not many people are likely to read this but to those who do I have a radical new idea for the next trilogy.  It goes like this :- It is apparently better to have two parent families over one parent families for the psychological well being of the children.  (One parent families still produce wonder kids though!)  So why do we have such a blindness to this in every other part of society?  I would suggest that we should move to a place where we are voting for two Prime ministers not one.  One male one female.  Two Presidents not one.  One female one male.  The balance that this would help to create is left to your imagination.  Every public governing body could have an equal amount of male and female participants as compulsory.  How would that begin to redress the balance.

Think through the ramifications of this and how else could a joint partnership between male and female beeit society on an equal level,  How would the world look if all institutions had to have an equal number of males and females running them?

Discuss!

The Bucket. YA adventure story.

Hello to you and thanks for reading this.  I have written a new book for 8 year olds to 80 year olds called 'The Bucket'.  It is presently being edited and made ready for publishing by Pegasus Publishers of Cambridge.  Here's the blurb on what it's about.  I warn you now though.  The hero is not a boy!

Rachel the Intrepid has a bucket.  Her friends have ipads and real rocket sets and all manner of toys but Rachel has a bucket and that is better than any toy!

Rachel’s bucket has a hole in one side and a jewel in the other.  When Rachel first pressed the jewel in the side of the bucket she was just 4 years old.  Smoke came out of it and in the smoke five unicorns pranced lightly onto her hand and off again.  It made her smile and cry at the same time.  As her tenth birthday approaches her world begins to change with the arrival of a mysterious silent boy with amazing blue eyes and parents who she never sees.  They move in next door and their house grows a light green glow and has odd noises coming from it.  That is when things started getting really odd!

It should be out before March but I'm in the hands of the publishers and they have to make it look good!  I'm halfway through the sequel.
